Welcome to my website, DCComputers started as an idea when furthering my knowledge at Leicester College in Computer Maintenance.

I started my computer life like most people by spending hours on the help lines trying to get problems sorted, as I had more problems the more notice I took, so I was able to sort future problems out myself.  After this I attended Leicester College as an Access to computing student then as a PC Maintenance Student.  From there I went on to do the A Plus and since then I have qualified as a Toshiba laptop service engineer.

I now teach Computer Maintenance for Leicester College and I work Self Employed repairing and building systems, I spent 3 years working as IT Manager for a Computer Recycling Charity.

DC Computer Supplies started life in May 2007 after repairing computers for customers and Leicester College Students and gaining a customer client base.  My philosophy is to maintain a good client relationship; remain competitive and give a good quality service.

What happens when my computer is no longer useful?

With the new WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directive which came into force in July 2007, any computers that are built after this date should be returned to the supplier free of charge at the end of its life.  Therefore any new systems that I build should be returned to me at the end of its life for disposal.  Systems that are sold on are still required to be returned at the end of life, any new owners should be notified of computer return details.
